Our Initiatives

Support
We exist for the moments no one sees.
When the Sirens Fade provides confidential, stigma-free support for police officers navigating the emotional impact of their work.
WHAT WE DO
-
Confidential peer support pathways
-
Early intervention before crisis
-
Access to trusted mental health resources
-
Connection without judgement
WHY IT MATTERS
Too many officers struggle in silence.
We believe:
-
Support should be accessible
-
Help should be normalised
-
No one should face it alone
Counselling
Police officers carry what others don’t see.
Long after the sirens stop, the impact remains:
-
Exposure to trauma
-
Cumulative stress
-
A culture that makes it hard to speak up
For many, the most difficult moments come after the shift ends.
Our aim is to advance mental health assistance and prevent suicide among Australian police officers and first responders by providing support services, early intervention programs, and access to mental health resources.
